Ernie is the operator of the | HOME COOKERY and comes from Chicago. He is an architect who moved from the Windy City to work in Switzerland in 2005. Cooking since his teenaged years, he has come to develop the same love for composing a beautiful meal as he has for designing artistic structures. He has been giving lessons in the kitchen in Genève since 2008.
Barbara comes from canton St. Gallen, is Ernie’s wife and occasional sounding board. She is full of ideas and is always able to come up with interesting and delicious additions. She is the baker at home, and is in demand for her cakes, tarts and pastries.
Sarah is a Swiss native from canton Thurgau. Her style in the kitchen is pragmatic but fun as she cooks from the heart. While most people sweat from the heat in the kitchen, Sarah sings. She and Ernie instantly found a rapport in the kitchen as they began cooking together for groups of friends in 2009.
